West Coast MOA Services Inc. was started in 1998 by Patti Scott. Patti currently owns and operates this agency today. Patti Scott is an RMOA (Registered Medical Office Assistant) and an instructor for healthcare careers.

Patti Scott has 20+ years experience as an RMOA in various offices throughout the Lower Mainland. She has worked in Family Practice, Walk in Medical Clinics, Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Gastroenterology, Paediatrics and many others. Patti received her MOA certificate at Langley College and then wrote the provincial exam to obtain her Registered MOA certification (RMOA). She has graduated from the Provincial Instructors Diploma program and is working towards her BA in Adult Education at UFV (University of the Fraser Valley).

Patti currently teaches with Langley Continuing Education and has recently joined the faculty of Continuing Studies at Vancouver Community College. Over her 12 years of teaching Patti has been department head and been responsible for curriculum development at Stenberg College, Burnaby College, MTI Community College and Surrey College.

West Coast MOA Services Inc. began as a licensed employment agency providing screened and tested healthcare personnel for temporary and permanent placement. We have evolved into an office services agency offering efficiency consulting, digital medical transcription services, teaching, software training and implementation of EMR software.

As part of the MOA Association Patti has held Provincial Board positions of Provincial Public Relations Liaison for 2 ½ years and Conference Coordinator for 2002 and she held positions of Treasurer, Vice President and President at the chapter level, Surrey, Chapter 12. Currently Patti is an active member.
